About Arcuracy

Welding machines sell on one big number. A box says 200 amps, or 'welds up to 3/8 inch', and leaves out what decides whether it suits the job: how long it can hold that output before it has to cool, what input power it needs to get there, and whether the thickness claim means one pass or four.

Arcuracy puts those numbers in the same columns for every machine: output range, duty cycle points with their amperages, input voltage, the maker's thickness claim in the maker's own words, wire and rod sizes, processes and polarity. The amperage selector turns a steel thickness into a starting current, a wire size and OSHA's minimum lens shade, and the duty cycle calculator checks how long a machine can weld at your amps.

The catalog covers MIG and flux-core, TIG, stick and multi-process welders, plasma cutters, auto-darkening and respirator helmets, and the gear around them: wire, electrodes, tungsten, torches, guns, gloves, carts, tables, magnets and regulators.

Independence

Arcuracy doesn't make, sell or repair welding equipment, and listing is never for sale. Some buy links earn a commission; the affiliate disclosure explains how, and why it has no influence on coverage or order.
